Publication
Marketing Clinical Health Care was the first academic text released in December 2011. Built out of seeing frustration in the graduating classes year after year, this conversational book is aimed at being user friendly, cost effective and results oriented without sacrificing professional ethics. While written from a Canadian perspective, this dynamic text is applicable internationally within health care curriculum. This text is currently being utilized in professional development and related curriculum in Canada for Massage Therapy training. This text and it's companion Instructor version are available exclusively at Know Your Body Best. www.knowyourbodybest.com
Conversations on Professionalism is being re-tooled as a jurisprudence guide for therapists transferring between provinces. This text began after years of lecturing to therapists of varying academic experiences who had lingering battles with misconceptions and misunderstanding that effectively held them back or created unnecessary barriers to success. This text was originally developed as an excellent guide for students wanting to get the full picture of the field they are walking into, or any practitioner who wished they'd understood "the system" and what exactly they were expected to do, just a little bit more. It will now highlight inter-provincial differences and comparisons, supporting therapists to transition geographically with ease. This project has a revised completion date and is under development.
